- Click-through events on outbound retailer links, aggregated by destination URL and day, to power the "Popular" listing. Not joined to any user identifier.
What we use your email for
Your email is used only for site functionality, specifically:
- Authentication: emailing you a single-use sign-in link each time you log in on a new browser or device. No passwords are stored.
- Restock alerts (opt-in, coming soon): if you subscribe a saved build to restock notifications, we'll email you when out-of-stock parts in that build become available again. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not:
- send unsolicited marketing, promotional, or newsletter emails;
- sell, rent, or share your email with retailers or third parties;
- use your email for advertising, analytics linkage, or cross-site tracking;
- use your email for any purpose not directly tied to a site feature you are using.
Saved builds
Saved builds you create are associated with your account when
you are signed in. Anonymous saved builds (created without
signing in) are only retrievable by the browser that created
them and can be claimed by signing in from that same browser.
Public share URLs (/b/<code>) are stable
and can be viewed by anyone who has the link.
Data retention & security
We retain account and saved-build data as long as your account is active. We protect personal information with reasonable security safeguards against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. We do not retain personal information longer than necessary to provide the services you've signed up for.
Cookies
We use a single first-party cookie to maintain your session (signed-in state, working-build drafts, theme preference). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. Some pages load anonymized analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) for traffic-shape understanding; no personal data is shared with these providers.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page.
